# Create an API key

> Mints a workspace API key (sk_...). Only its hash is stored. The raw key appears exactly once, inside the flash message text; it cannot be recovered later. Admin of that workspace or super-admin. 404 if the workspace does not exist.

**Minimum role:** `admin` (`x-min-role`). **Destructive:** `false` (`x-destructive`).
