# Remove a member from a workspace

> Deletes the membership (the user account stays). Refuses to remove the only admin (flash). 400 if membership_id is missing, 404 if not in this workspace. Admin of that workspace or super-admin.

**Minimum role:** `admin` (`x-min-role`). **Destructive:** `true` (`x-destructive`).
